Meet our team
Lori Stanley was the first layperson to become Executive Director of Loyola Institute for Spirituality in 2018. With a background in public relations and over 30 years of service within the Diocese of Orange, she brings her experience in pastoral ministry, organizational leadership, marketing, and development to the organization. It is her intention to use her spiritual gifts to promote and serve others in line with the mission of LIS. Lori is one of seven children born to the late Deacon Joe and Dolores Stripling and an active parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Church in Westminster. She is currently earning a master’s degree in Pastoral Theology from Loyola Marymount University. She and her husband have one adult daughter and are empty nesters who enjoy listening to live jazz music, playing golf, and socializing with family and friends.
Juanita Villalobos has a long standing employment and volunteer history within Orange County. For the last six years, she taught Spanish in high school for the Santa Ana Unified School District. She has also been the Director of Hispanic Ministry and Religious Education at her parish, Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano.
