Becoming a Man after God’s Own Heart: Discovering Your Life as Sacred Ground

Friday, March 6, 2020 7:00 p.m. to

Sunday, March 8, 2020, 4:00 p.m.

Pro Sanctity Spirituality Center, Fullerton, CA

The angel of the Lord appeared to Moses in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.”  “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”

Exodus 3:2-5

In the complexity of our day-to-day lives, we can feel separated from the simple and heart-felt place within, where we yearn for peace, connection, and the joy of our walk in faith. When we find ourselves searching for light in the midst of darkness, we need a time aside, for rest and reflection, a time of quiet, loving surrender to the God who surrenders in love to us. We are called to inner freedom, by and for love. Like Moses in the presence of the burning bush, we can re-discover that the life we inhabit is indeed sacred ground—a place where we can meet God face-to-face in the silence of our hearts.

This retreat offers a time apart for each participant to create the inner space he needs to explore his relationship with God, exactly as he is today. This is a priceless opportunity to recognize the many ‘tugs’ that occupy us—family, work, personal priorities, and the endless details that seem to fill every waking moment. During these days, each retreatant can discover the ‘tug’ of the Spirit within, and explore his own path to transformation, in the midst of any doubts or tensions that can cloud his clear vision of a deeper walk with God. These are days for pursuing the One who has pursued us throughout our lives.

We invite you to join us for a quiet weekend of prayer, relaxation, and spiritual nourishment to explore ways of opening doors to greater awareness of God’s love and transformative presence in your life.
