Biblical Instructors

Fr.  Felix Just, S.J., Ph.D.:  Fr. Felix received his S.T.L. in Sacred Scripture from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley and his Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from Yale University. For many years, he taught scripture and theology at Loyola Marymount University, the University of San Francisco, and Santa Clara University. He was Director of the Center for Religion and Spirituality at LMU and Academic Dean of Lay Ecclesial and Deacon Formation programs for the Diocese of Las Vegas. He is now Executive Director of LIS, and an instructor for the Catholic Bible Institutes of several dioceses in Southern California and Arizona.  His ministry takes him throughout the USA, giving many lectures, workshops, retreats, and parish missions.

Mr. Randy Lopez, M.T.S.:  Randy Lopez graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Theological Studies.  He also earned a Certificate in Religious Education from the University of San Francisco and a Master in Theological Studies from the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley.  Since 2001, Randy has been a high school theological studies teacher in both Northern and Southern California.  He currently teaches at Santa Margarita Catholic High School. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys facilitating dynamic and interactive presentations at local parishes. Randy is especially interested in the Gospels, ancient Rome, and lay spirituality.  He has worked with LIS since 2013 as Program Coordinator for the Catholic Bible Institute, Orange.
