At LIS we are committed to including all persons and groups in extending invitations and sharing Ignatian Spirituality. In addition to meeting all people in their daily lives we are currently working to increase our outreach to underserved, marginalized communities – such as the imprisoned and those who have experienced homelessness.

We want to help young people to know Jesus Christ and to feel themselves loved, saved and forgiven. To do this we are tasked with creatively adapting the Spiritual Exercises so that young people can personally know Jesus in ever deeper ways and follow Him more closely. LIS is increasing its outreach to local schools and parishes to engage families, teachers, and ministry leaders in their spiritual growth. When we offer programs like the film series Finding God in the Dark and Examen days of reflection we can carry out this mission.

This is the core of what we do at LIS. Our Spiritual Exercises in Daily Life and Formation program aim to connect individuals with these foundational principles of Ignatian Spirituality. With programs like Finding God in the Dark and Ignatian Morning we provide a glimpse into possibilities awaiting those who seek a deeper connection.

What does a spirituality center have to do with protecting the environment? By reflecting on a deeper sense of community and connectedness we bring to light issues that affect us all. We raise awareness of what is needed in our communities and bring healing through connection. Prayerfully informed choices lead to better decisions for us all. You will also note that when we host gatherings care is taken to reduce waste and impact on natural resources.

Thank you for your generosity and support.
