Loyola Institute for Spirituality :: Associates
Associates
LIS Associates are graduates of the ISFP or ELI
programs who continue to collaborate with LIS in promoting the LIS model for lay spiritual
leadership. They are lay men or women, permanent deacons, priests and Jesuits not currently
assigned to LIS who have a gift for spiritual development and some background in the area of
Ignatian spirituality. They are Roman Catholics as well as Christians of other
denominations. The Associates work side by side with the LIS staff in providing
spiritual services, including formation and training. They are available
for particular services on a part-time and/or volunteer basis. They may or may
not receive a stipend for their services. Associates are people recognized by LIS as having
a certain expertise in the field of spirituality.
